So, I thought I’d also share my latest additions to my scratch built scenery, my post apoc blasted modern ruins. I intended these for use in modern to zombie, post apoc and sci-fi. I try and make stuff that will fit a wide range of use due to real lack of storage, otherwise I would make all sorts of random big scenics, just cause it would be cool to do! I can’t unfortunately so the bits have to be more multifunctional. First bit is a large base of 3 ruins, cost nothing to make, pretty basic, but effective. Pictures say more than words, here’s the pics.
This next piece is what was originally a broken toy house I had to dispose of from my toddlers, it was dangerous and snapped. The rules of my house is, if it’s going in the bin, Dad’s going to put it to some use! I added some wood bits, foam card, tiny square foam craft stickers, bits of crap and dried plaster left overs and some other bits from my bits box. It turned out nice, the inside I prefer to the front, but it is going to be a good addition to the ruins collection.
I thought you might appreciate some action shots, so I present these just to give you a better idea where this is going to, As you can see the black dog building next to them, as with a few 15mm figures for scale (including the 10mm minotaurs) I do have more planned, enough i hope to do a large section of ruined city, but time will be a factor for any deadlines getting round to them.

I agree, they are the perfect fit! I’ll be investing in more of these figures, and reckon I’ll throw a few fantasy ones in too for good measure!!
I just need a few nice 15mm character models for them and I’ll have a decent warband!
