Coming up for air….
3 SepJeezus…it’s been a while since I’ve posted here, and quite frankly put, it’s been no walk in the park recently for me.
As the title says, I think it is time to come up for air from the sea of crap I’ve been drowning in these few months and get back to doing what I am good at (suffering and wallowing might be something I’ve been accustomed to lately, but I’m not that good with it)
Blogging, wargaming, painting and modelling have seemed like nothing compared to the soap opera of life, so my focus shifted to more serious matters, stress even having a real physical effect on my health puts less emphasis on the whole scene too.
But, I do realise that with all the focus on the shit side of life, all work and no play makes jack a dull boy. We need these things in our our life to give us a distraction from the darker and stormy side of our dreary existences.
So, with that, I am starting to feel that it is time to kick myself up the ass and get inspired again, not an easy task (well, you lot might think it is, but I can assure you, how I’ve been feeling, it really isn’t) I’ll be getting back into all my blogging (I’ll try and keep it upbeat) and all the projects I’m doing (or had been doing) I’m not going to push it too hard for health reasons, but hopefully all will be well on that front (fingers crossed)
Again, thanks for your words of encouragement and good wishes, that have indeed kept me going this trying time, and made me realise that the time for being down and beaten is over.
The grinning skull has even more significance than ever, still grinning in the face of adversity.

40K Death Guard Army: More devotees to join the cult of Nurgle. More Chaos Cultists…
Ok, so these lot are new editions to my cultist units, and a mixed lot they are. all the ones you can see here are virtually kitbashed from a variety of parts and models from all different companies to fit with the ones I already have. You might recall that my existing cultists are the […]

40K Death Guard: Baby Gnarlmaw terrain.
Ok, so this isn’t really an addition to the army in the same sense as the rest, but I did want to get some Nurgle appropriate scenics to help place the minis more with the sort of background I have come up with for my lot. Since my Death Guard are “The Sentinels of His […]

40K Death Guard Army: Brother Fingaz enters the fray.
Back with more from my horde of Nurgle’s finest. This time I’m going to show you one of my personalities in the army, someone who I’m calling “Brother Fingaz”. 40K Death Guard: You can never have enough Chaos Spawn…
So, if you recall, I had a big stack of Chaos Spawn proxies already done with a load of chaos snails and some horrors from the 7 sins game, but since I have a love for weird and creepy shit, every time I saw something that would make great spawn proxies, I just had to […]

40k Plague Marines, Death Guard Army progress…
Its been a while since I posted anything on my Deathguard Army for 40K, and realised I hadn’t shown off my plague marines. I have taken the same direction with all the models in the army, with very few actual GW unmodified minis. Sure there are a few, but I decided that from the start […]

40K Deathguard Army: Proxy Poxwalkers (Probably) : CP Models Plant Creatures.
So, more Nurgley Chaos goodness with this possible proxy unit of poxwalkers that I painted. Now, this lot were originally from CP Models (apart from the front model, which I’ll address in a bit) and are from their sci-fi range and are intended to be B-Movie type plant creatures. (These models can be found here […]

Grinning Skull Studios October Release Round-Up
Well, as the saying goes, better late than never, indeed we are a few days late in posting the mammoth load of Grinning Skull studios publications that were released last month. I actually think that it’s a new record here, which also leaves us only 31 releases left before we hit 200 Grinning Skull publications in […]
