Totally bizarre news here, it would seem that some scientists would like us to believe that humans are the result of a wild pig breeding with a chimpanzee at some point of our history. Even so this might sound a little far fetched, it would explain why cannibal tribes describe human flesh as long pig (well, those who say it tastes of chicken might disagree…)
As much as the so called evidence can provide, I thought this was interesting, something I might like to include in the background fluff of my Oggam backstory as a bit of fun, well maybe, seeing as though this is all so far fetched!
With the crazy scientists at one end and their oddball theories, to the wacky creationists and their funny stories, I think it’s best to wait for some real evidence of our origins to turn up, either way I’m not going to loose too much sleep over it!
Anyway, heres the link to the info, so you can see for yourselves, and you can make your own mind up if we’re not just monkey’s cousins, but now we’re to include pigs in our family tree….
A chimp-pig hybrid origin for humans?.
Well, if you got my last post mentioning about beards, just forget it, this is what I was trying to get across (No beards though) The reports of this photo from Curiosity on Mars, pertaining to be a lizard like creature, no doubt a hoax, which is a pity.
As much as I’d like to believe it, alas its all probably BS, life probably existed there millions of years ago, but theres little likelihood of anything remaining. The guy who’s put this about sure knows how to pull in a few more hits for his blog, but other than that, sort of looks like a twat!
For those who want to believe, check it out!!!

Mars Discovery: Curiosity Rover’s ‘Earth-Shaking’ Find Downplayed By NASA.
So, in the event of sounding like the news of the Mars rover‘s recent find is going to be a game changer, NASA are now saying that they didn’t mean anything of the sort.
With the press conference scheduled in the next couple of days, they seem keen to suggest that this statement was just meant as the whole mission will go down in the history book, rather than they have discovered organic molecules or even evidence of past life.
The conspiracy nuts out there will no doubt be citing the US government covering up this evidence or something similar.
Maybe they might be right this time, it does seem like they were unhappy that the team spilled the beans about what they found as their official statement seems a little suspect in light of the original news.
I think we all know that there was probably some kind of life there once, I think that they are just putting off the eventual truth that man is foolish for thinking we are unique in the universe. Life is probably a given pretty much anywhere that the right conditions exist or have existed.
We’ll see what they say in a few days.
