So, happy halloween readers, I thought I’d share this with you. Yes it seemed appropriate to post this up seeing as though it’s the season of all things ghostly. I can assure each and everyone of you that this tale is genuine (its no creepy pasta made up shite, its my true account of what happened to us before my eldest was born)

Of course, I’m not expecting that you’ll believe, I know what happened and it was one of the creepiest paranormal experiences I’ve ever been witnessed to….

Slenderman, slenderman, where for art thou, slenderman…

Slenderman-irl

The first time I ever heard about the Slenderman, was when one of my kids mentioned it to me, and asked if I ever heard of the legend (as if it was real) To which I told him that it was probably made up, as I’d not heard about it at any time. He and my daughter point out refused to believe me and even now, they still hold a mixed view on just where they stand in regard to the whole thing.

Cannibals and Corpses (No, it’s not a Roleplaying game, or a band. It’s real!)

Following on from this weeks finale in The Walking Dead, what with their suspected terminus cannibal types, I thought I’d take it upon myself to guide you to a few choice real world tales of flesh munchers and cadavers.

On the theme of people eaters, that being cannibals to me and you, firstly I want to show you the recent report of what has been dubbed the cannibal cafe. You won’t see Gordon Ramsey or Jamie Oliver here, but what you will see is human head on the menu (and I don’t mean the customers getting a BJ, it’s real human head!) The funny thing is that it seems like they did have customers, so it makes you wonder how widespread cannibalism is in the world. Sure, it’s certainly taboo, it would be naive to think it doesn’t happen anymore after thousands of years of human evolution, peppered with all sorts of human munching for various reasons of cuture, nessesity and madness.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/africa/cannibal-restaurant-with-roasted-human-heads-on-the-menu-shut-down-by-police-9123693.html

The next bit of cannibal craziness is a most definitely 21st century spin on the theme, and some would even argue that this is even actually cannibalism (which in my opinion it is) This company hopes to take samples from the famous and then lab grow their meat to be eaten by others! I can’t see this being cheap since with the recent lab grown meat experiments costing a whole stack of cash, add on the cost of obtaining the original samples of the subjects, then the real costs of doing the do, then the hype and nonsense, then the cannibal costs (the privilage of eating long pig etc) then I surmise, this isn’t something you’ll just be able to get on the way back from the pub on a weekend like the humble dona kebab, and you’d have to be among the elite to afford it.

“It’s made out of people!” Making meat from celebrity tissue samples.

Of corpses, or not corpses (well, he is now anyway) with the story of the guy who was suspected dead, and woke up in a morgue. Well, two weeks after the incident, he died! It makes you wonder why he actually bothered, unless he’s going to wake up again in another two weeks and this is going to be a regular thing. I feel sorry for his family, it’s going to cost them a shit load in funerals!

More corpses, and the news that it seems likely that the infamous Black death was not as it was thought, spread by rat fleas, but it was airbourne. If you remember the old rhyme, ring O roses, “atichoo, atichoo, we all fall down” seems to be in line with some sort of flu type of strain and not infection from flea bites. Since when do you sneeze from getting bit by a flea? (I might be wrong, but the new synopsis seems more plausable in my opine!) What does bother me is, exhuming plague victims corpses doesn’t sound like a great idea since things like viruses, bacteria and such can lie dormant for thousands of years. Why is it a good idea to start digging up plague pits and fucking around with them? Whatever they do, the scientists can stay the fuck away from me! (and make sure they wash their hands!)

CLOWN NEWS: Lincoln, Scunthorpe and Sheffield clowns in the news

21 Nov

So, more clown stuff, rather than give you a description of todays found news, I thought that I’d let the links speak for themselves, and the pics/vids so to speak. New locations and related clown info drifting around the web.

The Lincoln Clown: http://www.scunthorpetelegraph.co.uk/Scary-clown-spotted-Lincoln-Facebook-page/story-20104672-detail/story.html Some whispers on the net claim that this clown was nothing but a local band seeking the news to go viral, again for publicity (if that had been successful, we would know the bands name wouldn’t we!)

The Scunthorpe Clown: http://www.scunthorpetelegraph.co.uk/sinister-looking-clown-roaming-streets-Scunthorpe/story-20099038-detail/story.html and here: http://www.scunthorpetelegraph.co.uk/Good-clown-Scunthorpe-8217-s-sinister-clown/story-20104994-detail/story.html and here: http://www.scunthorpetelegraph.co.uk/xx/story-20100213-detail/story.html

And Sheffieldhttp://forgetoday.com/news/mysterious-locals-spotted-clowning-around-sheffield/ and talk here; http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?p=10167865 and Sheffield sightings facebook page https://www.facebook.com/OfficialSheffieldCS

Also pics of the Chesterfield, Sheffield and Retford Clowns.

May or not be the “Rainworth clown” however, while the mask looks similar, the costume doesn’t match.

Taken from the facebook page, dedicated to this creepy clown haunting Sheffield.

I thought I’d add this video of the rainworth clown from youtube, just for comparison to the pic of the Chesterfield clown, as you see, the costume differs, so I would still say these are still two different, if not unrelated clowns (jesus, I can’t believe I’m seriously writing this!)

This is a new one, the Retford clown, looks kinda like a zombie Ronald MacD.

Plus a shot of the purported Retford clown, a zombified version of Mr macD, I’d heard a few rumours of Retford’s clown, but I suppose this is confirmation it’s true.

As we speak, literally while I’m typing there’s been a sighting in my area, a kid has just seen a clown, and it’s scared her senseless and is getting treated for shock right now. I must tell you that even so I’m not too fazed by one of these costumed freaks, just hearing lots of uproar and uncertainty in case someones lurking around my area, it’s still really unsettling. My kids are pretty freaked right now (Plus they’re only little ones, so they are borderline from really throwing a big panic if anyone upsets them now they have heard there’s a scary clown about) I’ll get more info about this as soon as possible.

For those out there who normally come here for other content that’s non-clown related, please do not fear, I’ll be back to normal service soon, providing these bloody clowns don’t spread further…

Right where’s my bat…

Northampton Clown News: Could the clown be coming to a Town near you?

30 Sep

So, an update with the bizarre Northampton clown. It would seem our creepy fiend wants to gain even more noteriety than just being Northamptons unsung hero/villain, by taking over the UK.

Now available are T-shirts and merchandise featuring the IT lookalike, in an attempt to fund the clowns travel of the country and appearances. Some have stepped in to the argument saying that any proceeds from the profits should go to charity, whilst others think “why not”! Such as this commenter noted in the article:

“Maybe this guy has bills to pay, kids to feed. He came up with a good idea, people wanted to buy some stuff, and he catered to them and now everyone has turned on him.”

Please help the Northampton clown, wife and kids to feed! Beep beep!!

A strange image popped into my head when I read that comment, I imagine that if the clown does have a wife and family to support, maybe they would look something like this pic!

On a serious note, what’s the real beef here? Fair play to the guy for trying to cash in on his fame, and if he wants to travel round the country spooking people in random towns, that’s fair enough (Although I’m sure some police forces outside of Northampton will not see his antics the same way…) but, since when does dressing up as a killer clown constitute having to do anything for charity? I say good on him at making a bit of coin in this day and age, but the nay sayers and caulrophobics will say otherwise (Or pennywise…)

Where is this going? Will the clown be guest starring in popular TV, or end up switching on Northamptons Christmas lights within the year? I just don’t get how he can better his antics. From the looks of things, he’s certainly going to cause more mayhem in the minds of more folks, but I still think of him as a one trick pony. Strangely, some of the article seems to hint that the man himself is a performer, is this a clue to uncovering the mystery of the clown? Is this some weird performance art?

Lets hope he has some clown minders in tow when he starts his UK tour, as there seems as if the anti- clown league are waiting to see what he’s spending his pennies on….
